I am occasionally guilty of this crime.... but not for an every day dinner. A fancy restaurant or a cake i've made maybe.... Posting pictures (and they are ugly pictures) of your basic meals only goes to show the rest of the world what a moron you really are. Anyway im having a spud for my dinner.
So it it has felt like forever..... but now it's back. How i've missed its glitz and glam, a jamie Redknapp in a suit, various close ups of fat men eating hotdogs and of course the rules of the pundit.... Welcome back Premier League.
18 goals scored today. 7 of which by a team in red, should you care. How many circles here Mr Maker?
I like making a good pattern. Something satisfying about copy, merging and pasting shapes until they are no longer recognisable. Today I mostly used the circle shape tool. I will be exhibiting some work over the bank holiday weekend at The Dolls House, Hythe. I have been hard at working adding new drawings to my Kent Series. I drew the kent series in 2010 and it felt strange to return to the project after all this time. The work is very different, but remains true to my original concept. Todays 365 is a little bit of my new work. As previously mentioned I can work in great detail on something that may never be seen due to the print size itself.... I like that. This is one of those moments. Take a good look because it will be too small to see in the finished print.
It was the worst thing in the world. Hand in the air.. "Mum...." You could feel the blood rush to your head, you go cold as your realised your error...... the word spreads around the classroom like wild fire, fingers pointing .... 'Arghhh You Love the Teacher!!'
Cliché is an expression, idea, or element of an artistic work which has become overused to the point of losing it's original meaning, effect, and even to the point of being trite or irritating, especially when at some earlier time it was considered meaningful or novel.
The term is frequently used in modern culture for an action or idea that is expected or predictable, based on a prior event. Typically pejorative, clichés are not always false or inaccurate; a cliché may or may not be true. You probably knew most of this, but what you probably didn’t know is that the word is an onomatopoeia! Representing the sound of a printing press. Just try not to go around bragging about it's origin, or it might soon become very cliché. What's your favourite? credit- http://www.omg-facts.com/Language/The-Word-cliche-Is-An-Onomatopoeia/58194 |
